Please Meet Zehira, my very first attempt at sculpting in clay. She was created in 2005. As you can see, I'm still new at sculpting. I think I have a talent for it....I loved the process anyway, and that is why I continue. What's the point? If you love something, you can certainly succeed.
Zehira's head, hands and legs (and shoes) are made from polymer clay. Her hair is mohair, her eyes are fine quality silicone. She wears a necklace of Swarovski crystal "diamonds."
Zehira's name comes from the Hebrew verb l'zaher, to be careful. Somehow I felt it fit her personality.
I've been told that "every emotion can be seen on her face."
